The rankings were never about power but about usefulness to Reginald. This is why Luther is Number 1 - he was the most obedient.

Without being too heavy handed about it, The Umbrella Academy is touching on complex ideas about patriarchy, motherhood, mental disability, and sexuality in the 1960s.

Good to hear.

Season 1 consisted of a great cast, characters, and premise, in search of a much better show. It was pretty annoying just how much UA managed to overshadow Doom Patrol despite the latter being all-around superior.

I’ve had a horrible past two weeks. My grandma passed on the 4th. It was sort of expected but still seemed to come out of no where. She’s had horrible RA for years and has been bed ridden for at least the past 2 years.

So the other day I found out that my aunt and uncle are going to Las Vegas next weekend for their anniversary...during a pandemic!!

Last week (July 5-11) was probably the roughest damn week of my life. I knew it’d be tough, as I was working and preparing to perform in Shakespeare in the Park this weekend...

Does the president even have the power to defund the police? I thought that was a city, county and state responsibility.

Hello! I have been following your story as well! Omg every time I read your posts about your MIL I feel like we should get a drink together.

After 5 years, I am finally out of the greys. Hurrah! I walked 5 miles of hills today in 90+ heat. Despite the sunburn, dehydration, and sore muscles, I feel pretty darn good! What’s up with you beautiful people?

I’m just waiting for that day when Stone gets flattened by a steamroller, revealed as a toon, and meets his demise when Eddie pulls the trigger on the accordion-mallet, releasing the spray of dip.

Someone commented in a Facebook group along the lines of “Even if he didn’t have anything to do with that, he’s still got bodies under his floorboards”. I know conventional wisdom says there’s no wrong way to grieve, but “I slept with my wife’s cremains like it was a teddy bear” begs to differ.

Lucky is my go-to jeans but they are way too expensive in their stores. I only get them from Nordstrom Rack or a Burlington type store.

That seriously sucks. I got a bunch of lucky jeans on a sale years ago, and they were and are super-soft.

I just finished watching this. The run times are more about them having really poor pacing and plot just meandering.

Watch the original Penny Dreadful! It was fun camp, as opposed to whatever this is supposed to be.

Save yourself the ten hours and take a hard pass on this one.

For real: how did her Ob/Gyn not notice this and say “hmm, you know I think you’ve got a little extra equipment here.”?

That was my first thought as well, that surely one of her exams or pregnancy checkups would have found it? Or is it more of a one over and you’re good?

Not surprising: the (lack of) response from the gun community to the murder of Philando Castile, a card-carrying member of the NRA (who was shot because he informed a cop that he was carrying [legally] and the cop freaked out and shot him) tells the whole story.

Yeah, I eye-rolled as those Nazi-damsel-in-distress-Magda’s reactions too. That’s the most baffling Magda storyline, because it requires a ton of work (and screen time) but I still have to understand what wooing dorky Dr. Craft is going to accomplish as she’s already dealing with actual Nazi agents elsewhere.
