Hypocrisy has always been a core tenant of conservatism and the GOP. And given their attitudes and ideology hasn’t changed, neither will that. Because if conservatives become convinced they cannot win democratically, they will not abandon conservatism. They will reject democracy.
Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and everyone else who supported the attacks on the Capitol, should be tried and executed for treason. The Constitution says treason is punishable by death, so let’s do it.
