She couldn’t get one in Florida and her boyfriend (they are living in sin) had a new great grandchild in Connecticut, so they drove up to see the baby and both got vaccinated without difficulty. Then they had to go back to Connecticut 3 weeks later for the second shot. Maybe not the safest strategy, but probably safer

They stand for things when it benefits them, and stand for the opposite when it benefits the “wrong” people.

Facebook doesn’t post articles about Giz-place and us Giz-Kinjas for the same reason that the ruler of the Multiverse doesn’t comment on the squabblings of a few ants. We’re just too low on the internet totem pole for the Mark Above All to grant a microsecond of audience upon.

I can’t speak for Twitter, but FB is really good at warning or suspending me for innocuous things. I posted a link to a Snopes article on a friends’ post debunking what she posted and they warned me because it supposedly violated their rules about spam. I’ve been suspended and warned a couple times using the word

When this was first announced, Publix was initially the sole provider of the vaccine in the state. This provided an outcry, and even had people in Biden’s administration taking a look, leading to DeSantos finding some other suppliers. Publix is still providing more than 60% of the vaccination sites in the state.

What Spready Kruger never grasped is that the infection and death rates in all of the “shithole” countries was less than the US. For some reason the people in those countries, with worse access to health care, didn’t seem to get sick.

This should be interesting since OSHA has said that a failure to require vaccination can be considered a having an unsafe workplace. And the Dept. of Labor has said that a failure to guarantee coworkers are vaccinated/COVID safety guidelines are followed is a valid reason to refuse to return to work and continue

In Florida’s defense, DeSantis only won by like 0.6% over a black man in Florida, but he’s acting like he won by a much larger margin.

If facts meant anything to those fuckers we wouldn’t be in the shit we’re in now.

I lived in Palm Beach County for 35 years. Publix are not in poor communities. However, I lived in Wellington, FL (richy rich) and we had 4 Publix within 5 miles of my house.

My 75 year old mother lives in Jupiter and got hers in Connecticut about a month ago.

Seriously. My sole hope is that grifters like DeSantis, MTG, etc., are revealed as being garbage legislators, but the reality is that their legislative record could not matter less to their base.

And without that increase in capacity, it means that the thousands of laid off Disney employees are going to be fucked even more. Disney is not going to rehire thousands of people that will need to be paid if there’s not the money coming in to make it worth it.

as shitty as publix’s heiress is, i highly doubt that publix is so rare. i live in florida. i am always near THREE publixs’ on any given day.

the vaccine is also available at walmarts here.

i have to go to a town 2 hours away from me, to a city park to get my first shot wednesday.

I have zero faith that anything will happen to this misshapen lump of lard in humanoid form. It’s like there’s something in the water there that makes the people impervious to common sense and logic.

When Agent Orange Foolius was talking about shithole countries apparently he didn’t realize he was talking about this one.

This is an issue that should have DeSantis in deep trouble as he heads into 2022 for his reelection bid.

Everything republicans claim they stand for, they actually stand for the opposite.
