The wait and see people will never have enough evidence to convince them. They are just proud of their ignorance like so many other people, but they special because reasons.

I have both in my family; my mom wants to get it, is in the target range/demographic, signed up for it, and is awaiting notification as to where/when she can get it. My aunt/her sister, who is a year or so younger, is all “you don’t know what they’re putting in that stuff!” and probably won’t.

Yep. I waited until my employer (a hospital) started rolling it out and saying “Hey, guess what? You’re doing this.” Got my first shot last week.

Maybe the fact that you’re “fully Caucasian” is part of the reason the language doesn’t make sense.

In fairness to Caucasians, they lost their minds when a black stormtrooper was revealed. They just really like things staying white, no matter how stupid it makes them look. 

OK, biracial to biracial time:

I’m half black, but quite a few white people assume I just have “a great tan”. When I point out my heritage, I also get a lot of “okay but you’re not *really* black”. And this is in the 21st century, speaking to supposedly progressive white people.
