I was in a restaurant yesterday, just wanted to relax and look at my email, had ordered and was chilling out at a table that I had chosen that was admittedly away from the rest of the crowd - and a woman walked to the back of the restaurant and decided to use the table smack next to me to change her kid’s diaper. No

I thought her death was sketchy. Lots of drugs

No, you’re assholes for turning your opinions about someone’s comedy into a moral crusade. You don’t like his comedy. Fine. No one cares. But then you call him a shitty person because you don’t like his comedy? That’s an asshole

Thank you! That is exactly how I felt reading this, biracial and pissed.

I can see where the author (and others who write about interracial relationships) are coming from, but yes...I also agree with you.

THANK YOU. As a biracial woman, I am tired of people saying my parents love was invalid. That it was just serving colonialism or serving to oppress black women. If women of color really do not hold men to be the locus of their lives, then do Kumaili and Aziz really need to represent brown women on screen for them? Let

Personally I’m tired of people attacking interracial relationships. I hated when Jill Scott did it several years ago and I hate it now. Because underneath the rant about interracial relationships is the hatred of biracial people. We get it, you don’t think we should exist.

Purposefully trying to get a rise out of people by exploiting their sensitivities and vulnerabilities in order to point out how “crazy” they are is being inflammatory. It’s also condescending.

All these years later and she’s still into horizontal stripes. Rock on.

Madge probably loved The Phantom Menace.

You not liking his comedy does not make him a shitty person.

As a mom of two little ones, my husband better have some nice lady locked down within a year. He can’t do this shit alone.

Oftentimes men ARE making the dresscode rules. If men’s clothing is so oppressive, it’s within the rulemakers’ purview (again, oftentimes men) to change the rules to benefit themselves, eg, not wearing suits. But they don’t.

Men can fight their own battles, esp since it was men who set this shit up in the first place.

Don’t like the dress code for men? Then try do something about it. Don’t just complain about women objecting to theirs.

Women’s clothing is inherently different than men’s clothing. They make workplace dresses with no sleeves for women. I’ve worn them with no problem in Corporate America for years. I can’t think of a male equivalent. Even the most casual male business shirts have sleeves. They can’t just arbitrarily change the rules

I would not be surprised if James Franco was bi-sexual.

The Lumbee are very much a real tribe. They are recognized as such by state law. They do not have federal recognition due to a whole lot of institutional racism.

People on the island had evidently been saying for years that this is what happened, and no one really believed them.

Of course she’s not dead.
