The offputting thing to me about Napoleon is that this was a guy who had charisma and persuasive skills; he wasn’t just the Putin of this time. Seeing Phoenix throw on yet another of his dour, joyless faces reflects exactly zero of that and frankly is tiring at this point.  Le Jokeur.

I’ve always been an early afternoon Thanksgiving dinner advocate. That way you’re done by ~4:00 and adjourn to the living room to watch the Lions get their asses handed to then for the 30th straight year, maybe take a nap, get up and make a new drink, and everyone goes a la carte on the leftovers before splaying out

Congratulations on having a human understanding of how Thanksgiving and moviegoing works.  Would it be possible for you to write for this site, since your knowledge of being a person seems to be sorely lacking here?

At the moment there’s a real danger that the Marvels box office is not going to even reach its budget numbers. Meanwhile Wish is just plummeting hard with little indication that word of mouth is going to help it like happened with Elemental.

It’s just L after L for Disney. This is after the final numbers for last weekend came in and The Marvels actually dropped a spot behind Thanksgiving. Good to see a Rachel Zegler movie doing well though.

Big game companies are always testing the limits. Is a battle pass okay in a paid game?, would people accept a Item Shop in a full price game?, are ingame adds okay if the game is on a rent games service?.

Big military powers are always testing the limits. Sending planes into foreign airspace to test the speed of the response, and how the “enemy” react to it and are expelled. The URSS and USA played that game, China and Japan. Russia and Finland.

He didn’t say they were lying about the incident *being* an error. He is asking for more clarification on the *nature* of the error. Probably something like: Was this a new feature being tested that got leaked? How did it come about that timely, live advertisements are tied to in-game button presses? What about

I mean, would you be happier if they just laid off that talent because they didn’t currently have something in the pipeline suitable for their specific talents? Dev cycles take time and move in stages. As Outrider mentioned most of their team was probably working on a GaaS game that got gassed, and anything else they

Well their other big project (which was just shut down) was a GaaS multiplayer Last of Us game, so it's hard to say which feels more like a waste of time and talent.

She didn’t say she supports Hamas. She says she is against Palestinian civilians being killed which you appear to be very much in favor of.

Where?

Same. I LOVED MK11 and this looks good but I went from intetested at launch to "maybe when a definitive edition is discounted".

“Stop yelling. Everyone’s departing from Scream VII.” - Spyglass Media, probably.

Button inputs are just code.  Code isn’t recognized when executing?  No execution.  Insert recognition points into code, suddenly those inputs will work.  Mortal Kombat < Konami code.  Although it would be funny if they were already baked in and people just needed to put the inputs in and the only thing the unlock did

the seasonal ones like the gruesome Thanksgiving finishing move which costs $10

I’m sure Batista is right about this being WB, but I definitely went from considering this game at launch to skipping it until a definitive edition comes out down the line with everything included at a cheaper price. And if no definitive edition comes out then I’ll be fine just skipping it altogether.

Just from a lot of people in the know covering this story, the consensus from gaming journalists tend to be this monetization call is coming from WB themselves. When you’re the dev, you simply go with the marching orders from who’s keeping your lights on.

Damn even the free unlock skins are being charged for now? It’s like all good-will NetherRealm builds with the game playing well gets killed by their dumbass decisions for the monetization side of the game.
