I used flannel, and made my pattern with butcher paper so I could iron it right onto the fabric for easier cutting.
The tutorial says to leave a 1/2" seam allowance on the sides of the legs, but I would go for a full inch so that they aren't too tight.

Excellent post! As an aid administrator for a public college, I applaud advertising repayment plans. It's very difficult to get this information in front of students and you'd be surprised at how many students ignore these options. A little paperwork can go a long way!

Also for those who are confused about any of the Income-Based plans... this makes it easy enough for a child to understand.
