Thank you! Also, thanks so much for starting this blog. I've really enjoyed every article, and I've found most of them really relevant.

I'm considering freelancing in the near future, so this was incredibly helpful! Thanks for sharing "The Money Book for Freelancers..." too!

I just got a new boss (my former boss retired), and she now requires us to send her weekly updates on Friday. At first I thought it was annoying, but actually it's great. She's much quieter than my former boss, and she keeps to herself, so it's really great to be able to send her email updates so she doesn't think I'm

So glad I wasn't the only one who thought that!! That Allegiant ending, seriously, wtf??? Really, the whole book was just like... really?? It almost turned the first two books entirely around. Not sure how I felt about the ending either.

I loved the Divergent series too, for all the reasons you mention! I think it's just different enough from The Hunger Games to be interesting on its own, and definitely worth seeing. Now, that Delirium series by Lauren Oliver, I'm not so sure...

Not only that, but the fact that her husband was driving drunk??? I guess celebrities driving drunk and potentially killing innocent people is no big deal here if the celeb is a cute white woman. Ugh.

Yup, you're right, I was being flip about that. It's still a shame this may be a common occurrence though.

Aaaaaand this is why I went from being a teacher/librarian to a management/business professional. It may be more time-consuming & stressful, but looking at my income compared to my boyfriend's teacher income makes it more worth it.

This is really interesting. Now I just need to remember, "sugar>10 and fiber<3"... I guess I could write it down in the notes section of my phone, but let's all be honest here, I'm too lazy for that.

Is it sad that I'm not even surprised that a tech start-up is horrible to women? (Yes, the answer is yes)

Thank you so much for sharing this! I would have never known about this tradition and practice if not for this article. Thank you for enlightening me on this Sunday afternoon.

I love them both too, and I am extra excited for Isabel Allende! So proud of her!

I loved that too! And the whole article, but particularly that comment...

Except babies. Not minus them. Thinking fail.

"You need to learn boundaries" is PERFECT! And it can be said to anyone, at any age! (except minus babies)

Oooo what happens when you do that? I'm so excited! Has anyone ever tried to assault you? I live in a pretty conservative area and, while not Texas, is pretty much like Texas, so I'm always worried I'd get shot if I heckled the antis.

Hmm, that's really interesting. My background is far from theater, so thanks for giving me that perspective. I guess memorizing lines is only one of many, many things they do and, since it is a weekly show, that's a lot of memorization.

Seriously?? Wow, that sucks. I could have sworn that Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, etc. were doing a little improv at least when I watch old sketches. Maybe he banned it recently?

I agree with EVERYTHING you just said but ESPECIALLY the cue cards!! Wtf, SNL?! It's your ONE JOB all week to memorize your lines and, if stuff changes, then improv it! It's an IMPROV JOB, ffs!! It kills me every week.

You're not old. I didn't think it was funny either... it's definitely been hit or miss over the last several years.
