Agreed. Just not sure if "I am shocked, SHOCKED to find gambling in this establishment" will cut it if the worst/best comes to pass.

They need to make a "and these are my crew" sequel to this one:

Problem is Pence is already pretty deep in the administration, being VP and all. Keeping his hands clean enough to survive the implosion means being uninvolved to a preposterously incompetent degree.
Yeah, the Zombie-Eyed Granny Starver is a definite step up from our current president. The fact that this is true makes me want to get a vodka IV.
Given the current occupant of the Oval Office, "drastic measures" could be sharing it with the President and waiting for him to blab.
Sure, go ahead and remind me how all the stuff I enjoyed as a kid was both unhealthy *and* toxic…
Reeeeeaally? I credit him with no conscience, but I will be happy to see Mr. Thirsty's desire for revenge used for the common good.
Um…get your dramamine ready? Sessions is probably the one person both the GOP and Trump are all-in on.
Really? Who? And are they just asking for him to recuse himself from investigation, or outright step down as AG?
I can only assume they threw them out as some concession to changing tastes. Because short of home chemistry or M-80s, those suckers were indestructible.
If it were some random Trump hanger-on with no GOP ties, I'd agree - not like the man has ever had trouble throwing someone overboard. But Sessions is an old-school Southern Strategy Republican, so there's no way the GOP will press for his dismissal until he's fork-tender done.
It's still nowhere near as creepy as the Woody Allen thing (if only because both participants are adults), and I can think of hypotheticals that could justify it…but it's a loooot of work for very little result. I figure Uncle Joe approves just because he's already got a dead kid and doesn't need more strife…the poor…
Had those as a kid too. Think my folks may still have them.
Man, if these people were troubled by hypocrisy they wouldn't be Republicans. And until they lose control of either the House or Senate, they can ensure there are no legal implications.
I'd like to think so, but we have yet to find a "that" which the GOP as a whole balks at.
By resigning/impeachment?
If we're going by the color wheel, it should be…greenish. But with whatever's in Kool-aid, I wouldn't be surprised if it came out neon orange.
So…is that first gif from the upcoming "Every Little Step" movie?
"…wouldn't be surprised if this is why the still married brother and his wife recently separated."
The biblical laws existed mostly as a Bronze Age form of social services - if an outside woman wasn't married to a living family member, she might be abandoned. Remarrying a living brother ensured the clan would still be obligated to her and her children.
