@AllSystemsDown:Totally, I play in that environment online all the time. I always wondered if the city was based on an actual city. Maybe it is! Lol.

It is my favorite gadget to play with.

@Larry Williamson: I must say I agree with both your point and the one made by Brookespeed. However, the existence of such a system I think leaves open the question as to why it took so long for the ball bearing axle system to emerge. Also I would say that if they used such a system to create stonehenge, then some

Hmm.. oddly look like someone I know. Then again the image is not very clear and my vision is not good to start with.

@minardi: I do not recall that scene. Are we talking about the Syfy version or the original?

Ummm.... why not equip this SAFE thing with a remote so that the other astronaut could fly him or her back remotely? At the very least he or she could get the astronaut closer so that the rescue would be easier.

So you say the may have had the ingenuity to builds a series of rails with wooden balls inside which would essentially be the first ball bearings, yet the did not have the intuition to make the leap to the wheel? Also one would think that if these balls where used prior to the wheel then it would not have taken so

@ortizlgnd4: Same here. I also was skeptical of the findings when Giz posted the original article. It seems, at the very least, there might be a basis for that skepticism.

@theroselli: Firefly class ships had solar powered generators? I did not know that.

@Hypnosifl: Sorry, I did not realise that was a link. It is a blind thing. I will check it when I get home as I can not link to it at work... a firewall thing.

@Hypnosifl: No to which part? In what world is it not illegal to publish a classified document?

@Keav:My bad.

I am skeptical of this study. There may be many different factors that could have played a role in the results such as environment, etc. It is an interesting finding and the aspirin may have played a role in the decrease but I doubt it was a major factor let alone the sole factor. However, I could be wrong.

@abhistuff: Publishing documents that are classified in any of the many levels is not a matter of free speech, but rather plainly illegal. Whether his acts are in any way justified or not is irrelevant. The founding fathers, as justifiable their actions may have been, were traitors and if we lost the war they would
