Watching this movie sparked controversy in my house. I saw a bald faced bid to avoid irrelevance and become the “Goop” of former Forever 21 shoppers. My partner saw a person working through deep trauma in order to move on.

When I first started reading I thought “ugh must we give her any coverage at all?” but I actually think bringing up her documented racism in a time that she’s trying to rehabilitate her image is important.
