I played Half-Life 2 before the first and they really are only tangentially connected. The bad guys in HL2 were supposedly released during the events of HL1 but other than a few familiar faces, they’re almost entirely new characters.  Really HL2 stands on it’s own completely I’d say.

I haven’t been playing any one game really lately but more just goofing off in various games that are non-committal. I bought Yakuza 0 and enjoyed the hell out of the first hour but am more in the mood for a game right now that I won’t feel *compelled* to play, y’know?

If you completed the game I believe you unlocked cheat codes including a super jump and a super hammer.  That was the how I got the most fun out of htis game with friends.  Just running around wrecking the hell out of stuff.  The way bodies would ragdoll to the super hammer was some Thor level madness.

More Front Mission 3 content please and thank you.  I remember finishing this game when I was a kid and then not understanding the other 2 Front Missions were never localized so constantly bothering Gamestop employees asking if they had Front Mission 1 or 2.
