The engine mounts moved 20mm. The engine itself did not move at all.

Man, I was really hopeful when he got traded that he’d be able to sort out his life. The Patriots organization is usually the best at providing the proper structure and support to help players violate league rules without getting caught.  

It’s not electrical issues that are even involved most of the time, just being able to get stuff apart, get probes into the connectors to diagnosis an issue, have something plugged in but not fully installed to diagnosis, plugging something in before putting it where it belongs because once it’s in the plug isn’t easy…

I thought Mazda was very detailed with that for the purpose of saving weight.

Mazda even makes sure the wires aren’t a mm longer than they have to be.

Somebody added something, and that something was the thing that put it beyond the capability of the current design. Trust me - just be glad somebody listened to the engineers before production  on this one.

Maybe they realized they can’t just reverse which end goes where just because the engine is not under the hood anymore.

Automakers for cost and CAFE make their wiring just good enough but not any better. Ever work on a Mazda? Mazda even makes sure the wires aren’t a mm longer than they have to be. A little slack might make the cars easier to work on but not for the 25 cents more it would cost for the entire car.
