I did an exotic car tour this summer for a friends business, and drove a Nissan GTR, an Audi R8 V10, AMG GT, McLaren Mp4 12C and a Lamborghini Huracan. Of that lot I’d rank them:

I don’t normally have a ton of sympathy in these situations, but I really feel for this guy and was definitely rooting for him. I really really hope that this wasn’t just for weed. I mean, I don’t want to know the guy was abusing hard drugs of any sort, but fuck the NFL if they are ruining careers over something most

Sure have. Which is why I’d never buy one (okay it is one of many reasons).

I have not wrenched a Mazda, but curiously enough I’ve basically heard your exact statement about them before. My most extensive wrenching experience was on my e46 330i, and luckily enough I managed to avoid the electrical issues that plague so many others.

“only to determine...”

Ehhhhhhh, definitely would have liked to see them put the effort into doing either one of the cobblestone patterns for the whole image, rather than this lazy fade.

I think the logical way for the series to progress at this point with their new driver, is to simply find increasingly visually interesting locations, and build a bit more theatre around the shots. As silly as it is to have a guy jumping into an ice pool in the middle of the sliding, it’s going down the right path

yes

I encourage you to do so, especially if you have any interest in the filmmaking/production process end of things. This series caught me off guard as to how much it pulled me in. I really enjoyed it/have enjoyed it.

Yes. I have only driven the M2 of that bunch recently, not the recent version with the M3/4 engine, but I drove a M3 a couple of years ago. It was better than the 2018 M2, but not as good as the latest Porsche engines.

I can speak to this as well. The modern Porsche engines only have “turbo lag” in the sense of a scientific measurement that it actually exists. 90% of their customers would never notice it, and the other 10% are lying or dismissing the tremendous ‘pros’ side of the list to installing Turbos. The lag is nothing like a

Maybe they could just pipe the sound of manually changing gears through the stereo system

I just want to say that is one of the best reviews, let alone video game reviews I’ve ever read. It is so honest, not fluffy, and captures your experience (and I imagine, the experience most would/should have) playing this game. Thank you.

Man this is so unlike Porsche.

Seems pretty irresponsible to fight at this level twice inside two months. I mean, that last fight went the distance and he was losing badly until he landed that shot. Thankfully no one is studying or focusing on the long term effects of head injuries in sports these days!

This. My exact thoughts during that round. It’s almost like he was toying with him letting him think he might have a chance. Was like watching a cat play with a mouse before the inevitable.

The good news is here is that it seems like the M3/M4 are due for a sizeable power bump, given the power of the 2019 M2's and 2019 40i’s

The comments would be way more interesting if this story was posted to Jezebel instead of Deadspin.

The Nissan Maxima. My dad had a 1993, it was so fast. I bought my 1997 as my first car in 2001 I believe. Would have been much better cars as RWD
