This is a side effect of being someone like Musk. His vision is guided by his ego. That will rub some people the wrong way. On the other hand, people like him change the world. You don’t do what he does without being a little (or a lot) bombastic.

It’s a fine line for me, I agree with you on the bombing down the easy fairways but there is a fine line between challenging/low scoring to me and unplayable. This is still fine IMHO, it’s a tourney for the strongest player mentally.

While I like watching the pros struggle as much as the next weekend warrior duffer, there is a point of return where tournaments become unwatchable. This one is teetering awfully close already.
