I second anything positive said about the 55 1.8. Its absurdly low priced for the results it achieves. And with my A7R II’s being able to shoot in aps-C mode it’s a remarkable portrait lens as well

I am a professional photographer that converted from the from Canon to Sony when the A7R II came out. My canon lenses worked great with the Metabones Adapter. Sure they couldn’t focus that well in low light, or that quickly but in studio style situations they were just fine.
