You think Tarantino and Jurassic Park sucks? But….how? They're dinosaurs on the big screen.

I thought the A.V. Club graded shows like Ebert does films, against their own standards. The Big Bang Theory isn't trying to be Community or Arrested Development, so they assign the grade compared to other episodes. Just my two cents as to why it has an A-.

Great review.

I disagree on calling out Burton's Batman as being as campy as the 60s series. While definitely a product of its time, it laid the groundwork for the dark, more serious vision to come in comic book films. Many fans were upset after the casting of Keaton, but he defied expectations and played a good Bruce Wayne. Maybe

His voice is actually made fun of in some of the comics (at least in Morrison's run). "That growling voice you use sir, you're starting to use it in everyday speech."-Alfred

Even more shocking, Whitney was renewed?

Paul Thomas Anderson not listed in the new wave of directors in the beginning, for shame! Definitely expecting Boogie Nights and/or Magnolia to rank somewhere on the list. Following what the top comment says, I'm looking at this as top 50 without any particular ranking order.

It's probably due to Mad Men, but Margret's whole character arc so far just feels like one cliche/trope after another. "Catholic guilt, check. Women's rights, check. Sleeping with the boss's bodyguard. Check." Its been dragging out too long as well.

I look forward to watching Boardwalk Empire every week despite the obvious foreshadowing and predictability of it. The beautiful sets and strong performances keep me interested, but I wish the series had better writing and more consistent character appearances. Michael Shannon and Richard Harrow are always swapped out

Same here. If they continue this quality and drop the incest angle I'll start watching again.

3.68 million viewers for this episode (down from the pilot). I don't think this will survive an entire season.
