From what I've read Lana Del Ray is like an older Rebecca Black. Her dad is a millionaire with connections, her image (and face) were modified by managers. I think people can't stand her because she's basically the musical equivalent of a Kardashian.

"The vagina of forgiveness…" Is that like the female version of the fortress of solitude?

I won't. I usually try to be positive or have thoughtful criticisms on shows but that did  come across as just straight up internet bitching.

I'm not watching this show based solely on the producers association with Lost, which became a waste of time with nothing answered. As much as I enjoy Alias and other J.J. productions, Jack Bender and Elizabeth Sarnoff are a black mark on this show.

Compare her to when Jessie J, a relative newcomer was on SNL. Sure, she may have been over singing her song "Mama Knows Best" but she blew her out of the water.

She looks and acts like a cyclon gone wrong. Those lips, her fake British twang, everything about her screams corporate product.

Lana Del Ray and her fake face are already being hyped all over to the point where you'd think she's GaGa #2. Why? She's bad.

They won't be solving the Larsen murder until the end of the second season? Good luck getting your angry viewers back after you said that would be dealt with early on. Veena Sud must be trying to turn AMC into the USA Network.

This F perfectly compliments IGN's 0. Yes, this show is so bad that IGN gave it their first zero since 1998.

These writers are terrible. Debra's interests in men have always brought to mind her relationship with her father. He spent all his time with Dexter instead of her. Not only is going down this road beyond jumping the shark, it's also creepy considering the actors recently divorced.

It seems fitting that they capped off the worst season of Dexter with its worst finale, what a non-event. Aside from the creepiness of having Debra be in love with Dexter (which is made even more awkward due to the fact the actors recently divorced) the show continued to insult its audience's intelligence.

I'm also someone who stopped watching the show awhile ago but still comes here to read the well written recaps. The X-Factor is insufferable with Scherzinger as a judge, I really hope they get rid of her next year. Even though these shows are relatively cheap to produce I'm surprised it got renewed with the low

I'm calling it now, Rooney Mara will win the Oscar for Best Actress. I have the same feeling about her performance as I did about Christian Bale's in the Fighter and Heath Ledger's as the Joker.

Thanks for pointing out exactly where the show's been stupid and laying out your complaints. This is the type of comment that perfectly smacks down the "Dexter's writing is still great" argument.

*Cough* IGN *Cough*

Everything about this episode was awful. I'm so glad I came across the A.V. Club because it's a nice rational refuge from IGN's write-ups and commenters. (*shudder*)

Wow, after reading that it was pretty evident he knew he was going to be killed. Since Jimmy's one of the main characters I didn't think they'd do it but two shots and he's gone.

I applaud the fact that instead of spending the entire review critiquing what we already know (Rachel's gone, boom, one sentence) you pinpointed one of the biggest problems with this show: Nicole Sherzinger. She's completely useless as a judge and offers nothing of value in the way of criticism or entertainment. She's

The show is written like a [bad] video game now. "The bad guys are going to drive a boat full of poison gas into Miami Metro! Quick, call the police with your real voice Dexter!"

Spot on. Manny is a scary character to watch. I expected Angela to have her girlfriend come out of the bathroom and get shot but not for her to join her.
