I like the concept of the show and so far the singers have been decent, but the editing seriously takes away from it. The histrionics that come with these types of shows are still rampant. I appreciated how The X Factor basically had one performance after another while also having the eliminations in one episode. Idol

I agree with you, though Rainn Wilson gave pretty good performances in both Super and Hesher. Parsons is at its best when he plays Sheldon with his OCD/Asperger's tendencies, maybe it's the writing this year that's throwing him off.
