THIS!!!! +100

The cynic in me says that the idea isn’t to prevent the crime, just to punish you once you’ve committed it, there’s more money in punishment than prevention.

As much as I love music, I’m always baffled when I see poorly retrofitted speakers in classics. Like, that’s the best you could do? All that restoration work for you to just slap on some ugly modern speakers onto an otherwise beautifully minimalistic classic door card?

The Jezza, Captain Slow and Hamster Fun time Comedy and Variety Hour.

Jeremy Clarkson’s “How Hard Can It?”

How about:

Man those wheels are nasty on this truck!

Agreed, but with qualifications. I imagine that the tacky speakers are a tradeoff to practicality. This thing is probably noisier than a virgin on her wedding night and so requires some big thumpers to hear your NPR.

It’s all about the bass…

Agreed. All the effort for clean interior and you cut a hole in it?? Ish.

Pep Boys threw those in free with the purchase of the wheels.

That was the first thing that caught my eye. Real nice everywhere else and then herpes!

Yeah, that one hurt it, but I still voted NP.

Nah. Nikola would point out some unseeable detail that increased the range 10x. And/or have the car charging as it drove.

You forgot the white dove. :x

Lot of people say it was shitty, but I could find ways to have fun in a Smart Roadster.

Dammit Houston, why do you have to be in the headlines like this, get your sh*t together. -Coming from another Houstonian.

You’ve obviously never been to the Houston Zoo. Parking is absolutely insane, to say the least.

I am very surprised this doesn’t happen more often. If you aren’t at the zoo by 9 or 9:30, you will spend plenty of time trying to find parking. And where this is located at Hermann Park, there is no room for expansion. Just park at the hospital or get there early.

Houston PD did get called to the scene, but the people had left by then.
