There are kits that promise to weld or glue them back on, but the problem is you tug on these tabs every time you remove the side panel and they eventually break off again. Then you’re trying to glue a part to a spot that was previously glued before and that gets even worse.

I dunno, I kinda want to buy some RIVN.

Does it have to be a car? Because there’s thousands of 80s motorcycles running around with no right side covers right now due to the tabs breaking off. eBay is chock full of folks selling used side covers bragging about still having 2 out of 3 original tabs for small fortunes. Every now and then someone comes along

How do you know if durian is rotten? Does it start to smell bad or something?

You sound like a project manager.

we both can really rock a good jumpsuit

Shhhhh. Jason’s hair is a sensitive subject around here, sadly.

Tell me more about this turbo Flat 7. Does this run on regular or premium? Can I download more horsepowers? How many calories does it give me?

Oh really? I always assumed the design team carved out the concept then the bean counters came in and nixed the flared fenders, funky wheels, and aggressive styling then built some excitement down both sides in plastic cladding and sent the result to production. Learning that it went the other way is sadder somehow.

I remember seeing the concept car at the Houston auto show. I then went back home and told my friends about the cool looking Pontiac that was coming soon. When the production Aztec hit the dealerships my friends thought I’d lost my mind. The amount of ridicule I received could be measured from space.

Fluorescents were discovered in the 80s.

For me it was the Stubby Bob episode. That was the pinnacle of YT entertainment.

I remember pointing at the screen and yelling that the producers already had the spare windshield before directing them to “accidentally” drop it.

Crap, now I see that too.

Why is Tracy still banned from recommending Jeeps? Because it really sounds like this guy wants an old XJ.

Rail just isn’t compelling. I had to make a trip a while back and wasn’t in any hurry so I compared Amtrak to Southwest. Amtrak was twice as much $$ and 10x as many hours traveling. I’d still like to take a rail trip some day but that’s a pretty hard sell.

+1 for YT shows. Roadkill was freaking awesome before they went to MTOD. Project Binky is spellbinding even if they never actually finish the project (they’re so close though!). But even the non-professional mechanics like MCM are more watchable than Pimp or GasMonkey.

It actually kinda sucked in front of the screen too. There are better car shows available.

You may be on to something, I think I see a loophole.

BRZ gets my vote too.
