I hadn’t thought about that. The only time we track salt into our cars down here is when we visit the beach.
Flood cars are a common problem here in Houston. I’ve learned to look for discolored carpets, electronics that don’t work (radio/seats/locks/etc), but most importantly look under the dash and under the seats. Those parts typically aren’t painted because they never expect to be exposed to the elements and rust easily.…

Same here. Shifting left handed didn’t take any time at all, but to this day I still turn the wipers on the occasional right turn.

I’ve been fighting this same battle with the editors I work with too. If I decide to start leaving commas and semicolons out of the code I write it fails because punctuation has meaning.
