I have a ‘18 BRZ with the manual, my wife has a ‘18 Crosstrek with the CVT. Hers has Eyesight and mine doesn’t, I accepted this because of the difficulties it would have integrating with a manual transmission. That adaptive cruise is sweet but lane keep assist is a PiTA so I don’t really miss it.

“Adaptive cruise control” wouldn’t be able to shift, but maintaining distance at highway speeds generally doesn’t involve shifting. Cruise control is common with manuals.
