That would work for new(ish) cars but any Radwood and older wouldn’t have an OBDII port, and cars of that age are the ones where the odometer is easily defeated. There aren’t very many cars in that category though so I wonder if they would just set a default amount for them to pay.

This is the only correct answer. At least for me it is, my parents owned 3 of these when I was growing up so this is definitely the car of my 80s. We had a white one, then a black one, and a red one. I only have pics of the last 2 though.
