1) I actually like automatic seatbelts. My first car had them and I thought they were great.
Gold, PFFFFT! Only the Brushed Platinum subscribers get the whitepapers.
I’ll be in my Sudaru ZRB
Contestants can expect to receive no less than 4 vintage whitepapers covering taillight and indicator designs from the 1930s through the 1980s!
What if we were going to send a self addressed stamped envelope containing $50 cash to Jason Torchinsky anyways, can we still do that?
If they built this tunnel/bridge I would demand that Ewan and Charlie refilm Long Way Round.
This is exactly who I imagine I would see driving one of these.
When I was 11 my mom’s bright yellow Pontiac Phoenix inherited from my dad’s parents was dying and she was looking for a new car. She was convinced she wanted a Chrysler New Yorker. The first dealership we went to didn’t have one in the color she wanted, but they did have two of these Fiats on the lot. 11yo me spent…
The backseat doesn’t bother me that much, as far as I’m concerned that car is a 2 seater with a small shelf behind the seats. I wouldn’t bother putting anybody back there.
I was thinking more like a 280Z, but yeah.
Everyone thinks the BRZ needs a turbo. It does, but what it really needs is a rear hatch and maybe some T-tops.
Oooh, but I live in a state without an income tax so that wouldn’t go over very well. I know we’re still being taxed via sales and property, but income tax wouldn’t be very popular here.
Yeah, I was jealous at how easy it was for her. I ended up sitting on my insurance money for almost 2 years because Subaru no longer made the WRX wagon and I didn’t like anything else on the market.
That would work for new(ish) cars but any Radwood and older wouldn’t have an OBDII port, and cars of that age are the ones where the odometer is easily defeated. There aren’t very many cars in that category though so I wonder if they would just set a default amount for them to pay.
There’s something to be said for cars that barely depreciate. We lost both our cars to flooding (Harvey, not radios) and the insurance gave us just $21 less than we paid for my wife’s Crosstrek just 18 months earlier. She loved that car and took the check right down to the same salesperson at the same dealership and…
The Big Brother types would absolutely love that. I predict some license plates wrapped in copper mesh if they tried putting rfid trackers in the plates. Or more folks will start registering their cars in MT or wherever which would also interfere with lic plate cameras if they go that route.
I get that taxing by…
It also includes a clause that won’t go into effect until 75% of vehicles in the state are covered by a road usage/vehicle miles traveled charge, where taxes are assessed based on how many miles a vehicle is driven
Agreed, Mazda definitely has the best red paint on the market right now.
