Yeah, Voice actor Josh Keaton is Hal on the Animated Series.

While I agree on the impact of choice in Heavy Rain, the story is frankly...pretty awfully written, and the acting isn't strong...LA Noire has a pretty key advantage there. But I agree that the game play is a bit more exciting, for at least one playthrough.
Beat LA Noire over the weekend, it was a solid if somber ending. I enjoyed it alot more than Heavy Rain (fewer gaping plot holes) though I was dissapointed that the choices I made really had very little impact on the game progress.
Anyone played the Green Lantern game yet? I'm certain it's terrible, but my love of the character still has me at least a little piqued.
Funny, I love ME2, and after playing 10 hours of DAO, I cut it off to play DA2...I'm 15 hours into DA2 and having a blast...different strokes I guess.
So I keep debating with myself, should I purchase Alpha Protocol or not? (I don't have a rental option sadly, and I'd rather not start a Gamefly account for one game). I went to the store last week with the intention to likely buy it and was talked out of it, but then I see it mentioned on here occasionally as a game…
Currently in the midst of following along with the regular season on Franchise mode as the Braves, just came off a 14 win streak, broken up by the Nationals a few days ago...the only thing about the Show that still annoys me is how quickly very good players wind up on the trading block...Albert Pujols? really?
Playing what I think is the final battle in MK Story mode, Shao Khan is one cheap bastich.
I played the Beta for this, and I have to say, if that was enough of an indication...I'm not interested in playing any further. It felt like it was nothing but a big list of tasks...destroy 20 HIVE members, now go destroy 10 Gorilla creating machines, now go do this, now do that...MMO's just aren't for me I guess.
Wow, the Giants pen really isn't pitching that solidly this post-season in either series they've been in.
Philly takes the series 4-1, calling it right now...and for the record I'm a fan of neither, Philly is just the best team in baseball right now pretty much bar none.
I wanna like the Metal Gear games, but then characters in ridiculous costumes show up and make me feel like I'm playing Final Fantasy or am hanging out at Dragoncon and I'm pulled outta the experience.
@shouryuuken: good move...probably a route I need to take in the future...is gamefly worth it?
@shouryuuken: closer to Arkham, but not THAT good...some camera issues in the Noir universe, but good tight linear gameplay.
@Cynical1: I'd say...rent it then if you still have that option (so few of us do now), the linear atmosphere really makes the game better than the open world Spidey games...
Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions is surprisingly pretty entertaining, if a bit repetitive in spots, and honestly only about 10 hours of gameplay at a max...the actual concept is quite well done, and the voice acting is great.
@2NinjasTapedTogether: The 2nd book is a big jump in quality, give it a shot...but if you aren't a King fan, that's a bigger rock to climb.
@Bugoongu: Yeah, the fees don't deter me if the game is alot of fun. I just remember being less than enthused anytime these guys I knew turned on World of Warcraft...just looked like a bore to me.
Having never played an MMORPG before, I can't help but wonder if I'll actually enjoy DC Universe Online...if it's nothing but character grinding, I might have to second guess my decision to buy it come the release date.
Thanks so much everybody! I definitely see myself picking up Monster Hunter right away with God of War, Patapon sounds very interesting and Ace Combat sound very interesting as well.
