Hmmmm... My co-worker has an ‘04 with a manual. Pretty sure they came with a 6 speed in the US, but were very rare.
I think you made the right choice.
Thank you! It cleans up pretty well.
I did all the work on my own cars my entire life. Now I own a condo with an HOA that would shit their collective pants if I worked on a car out back. Needless to say, I can’t even do an oil change in my single allotted parking spot. I guess it doesn’t make me a Jalop or whatever to not do my own work, but I can’t have…
Here she is!
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?
My main problem was moving into the city, where I lack the space/tools to work on the car myself. So now I take it to a Porsche specialist. This is the first time I’ve ever taken one of my cars to a shop for repairs, so it’s quite a change of pace for me.
Thanks! It’s great so far.
I’ve kept it pretty original so far. Just got a $2500 bill from the mechanic to overhaul my throttle linkage, replace the jury-rigged electric fuel pump with a rebuilt mechanical unit and put a new distributor in (among a couple other minor fixes).
Take whatever dollar amount you think it’ll take to restore this 912 and triple it. Not a project for the under funded or over confident. I’m willing to bet there’s some hidden rust on that chassis and anything you cheap out on will bite you in the a$$ later on.
Anyone have a link to a build thread for this car?
Should pair well with the manuel transmission in my V6 BMW.
I’ve seen no evidence to prove you wrong.
Shhhhhhhh
Does Subaru put those silly Prius tires on the BRZ like Toyota does on the FR-S?
Gotta be white for me. Because racecar:
