The posts here stating concern for how innovative, or alternatively, how archaic the game might be, are hilarious considering just how much the EA C&C boards are exploding with criticism over just how much of the traditional gameplay was killed off.

@ckrames1234: What was annoying about it? Without messing with the library locations, I haven't noticed a single difference between it and regular folders.

I think the way that Tab-Mix plus does this is a little better in that it has a nice big loading bar filling the tab. I don't really like the skinny little line that the Firefox concepts show. #tabbedbrowsing

There's probably plenty of similar concepts, but if anyone's ever seen Ergo Proxy, there's this little computer book thing that's closer in operation to this than other dual screen notebook concepts I've seen.

Not to mention this premise seems to ignore all the oil that China's really getting from the Middle East, and the resources it's getting from Africa.
