I very much doubt that. Steve Jobs has said they have tested Macbooks with a touchscreen, but it just isn't a pleasant user experience.

Yeah, I haven't found the speakers on my iPod touch, iPhone and iMac yet either! I keep wondering where those sounds are coming from!

So from the above two replies, it really just looks like it's AT&T's spotty signal that makes a small problem a big one.
