Sounds like you are describing Rare, except they haven't been shutdown... Yet. Man MS is really bad at managing development studios. That is probably why they don't have any good exclusives anymore, Quantum Break being the one exception. I haven't played QB yet but it looks really good.

All I know is that leveling up my brand new Titan post-Taken King was so much easier than leveling up my original Warlock from launch day.

The level system has changed, and the only stat that really matters is your average light level AKA average gear stats. The max light level is 320. Getting to light level 280 is super easy, especially since all the vendors sell gear at 280.

Currently replaying FFTA now on an emulator. FFTA is the reason I got into FFT. Both are excellent games, although i prefer the art style of FFTA a little more.

I loved that one. Still havent played original FFT. Am I missing something?
