I’m still mad about the Nissan IDX
I’m still mad about the Nissan IDX
This is it. Corrados are just a crazy handsome car. Couple that with the sound of a well piped VR6 and it's the stuff dreams are made of. Problem is finding one that isn't ratted all to hell. (At least in my area)
Call me weird, but I’m really looking forward to the electric F-150.
The STs were great cars. Unfortunately, according to some, it’s all my fault they are gone. I chose a GTI instead of an FoST.
They’re nice to drive, have absurdly large aftermarkets, interiors and drivetrains are miles ahead of everything else in the same segment, and aren’t actually that unreliable. Over the lifetime of the car you probably won’t be spending more than a few thousand more in repairs than you would be with a semi-comparable…
It’s for people who live in a city who want an actual motorcycle to bop around town on and understand that the power of anything larger than a 250 is a waste because you’re gonna have to shut it down in a block or two, tops.
Let the turds with their ‘Busas or, conceptually worse, stretched liter bikes go eat a barrier…
Tough to tell on the internet but I’m going to presume the first paragraph is played straight. I agree: look at this thing. It’d kill in the small-displacement market as a ‘Murrican answer to the ‘Pilen 401. It’d probably do way better, on sheer account of having a large dealer network.
This. All these nannies are letting people be more and more stupid behind the wheel.
My dad worked in testing heavy equipment for the military. His favorite story was how they made sort of a monster truck rally of some test vehicles to show how tough they were for the brass. After completing all sorts of abusive tests, the cranes, loaders, and forklifts paraded in front of the stands.
If they made it into a new clownshoe, I’d be all over it.
From a company guaranteed to still be in business here when the warranty is up?
I think that’s just the name of Elon’s next kid.
I dunno, in Edge of Tomorrow he plays a smarmy asshole who gets killed over and over in increasingly inventive ways. It’s pretty much the perfect part for Tom Cruise. :-)
An immoral time traveler sounds like a great idea for a movie!
There are some very easy ways to design a system detentes and/or tensioners that would last 10-15 years. But they would cost $1 more, so GM would never use them.
How about no screens! It’s *way* easier to do these things safely (without looking at stuff other than the road) when you have physical controls. Voice recognition doesn’t count, cars are loud and computers are still very stupid.
Hey, this is America. We can be stupid in LOTS of different ways at the same time!
My imaginary $3k budget is in addition to an imaginary $1k for good gear.
There are also Sierra Nevadas in my refrigerator.
We need more motorcycle content!
