I take it you played Gran Turismo 3?

This is such a great drive! I lived in Trinity Beach when I was 8-9 years old and I have some great memories of my dad flinging us up to Kuranda in the Pajero. I miss the area a lot.

It is indeed super tight and windy. Some of my family refuse to go up there because of the guaranteed motion sickness. Great for motorbikes though! I see more people driving bikes than cars by far because of how tight it is, but still some cars looking for a thrill show up all the time. With the observatory and views

I've been starred and un-starred enough times now to know that this is complete bullcrap. Starred commenters often are the most mindless and inflated contributors, and this elitist attitude is the exact reason I choose so many other websites over this one. It does however make sorting through the comment section

Palomar Mountain Road coming up from HWY 76 in Pauma Valley outside of San Diego is one of the most incredible driving roads of all time - also once you get to the top you can visit the Palomar Observatory. Too awesome.

#5 - The least true stereotype.

Poe's Law indeed! Either way the verdict is in: moronic comment!

This is a great point.

"Most of these guys"?? Care to back up some of your assumptions with fact? I'm sure it goes both ways in terms of numbers, but when one side's assholeness results in a suppression of 1st amendment rights, it's obvious which side needs to change.

The tracking support specialist's wallpaper shows multiple generations of another rocket: the 3 series!

This whole article is riddled with mistakes! I couldn't believe it, and then I remembered this is a gawker site.

Zing! mwlphelps just got scrapped off of jryan727's shoe. Butthurt ensues...

They certainly aren't "jumping the gun", other companies have just failed to let go. The CD died years ago, so seriously, get over it.

@Giggity The difference you seek is less of a separation than you want it to be - @luckyhermit has been able to rise up and escape hoarding (in any definition), and you have not. Mental illness legitimacy or not. The difference is in willpower and true self capabillity. Don't create excuses like living skills vs.

I love you for this.

Err, no. Ed Roth had already been well into the SoCal Kustom/Weirdo scene for over a decade with his developed style/characters before Stanley Mouse even picked up an airbrush.

Pretty interesting that a bic will make it through - I'm sure that a fire started in a plane cabin would be a pretty big security threat. Homeland security and the TSA are beginning to remind me more and more of our (not being discrete here - FAILED) 'war on drugs'.

@mconheady Well, yes to them being morons because they can't do their job correctly almost 100% of the time, but if you read my comment I also not so subtly hinted at their great ability to racially profile and discriminate. So yes, TSA workers are power-tripping, incappable morons. Sorry did I hurt your feelings?

I mean, cool story and all, but its not hard AT ALL to get through with almost anything really. I've taken my small swiss army knife through dozens of times in my backpack at SFO, PDX and other major airports, and even once made it through with a box cutter that I had left in there from work. Not to mention my metal

Hahah, brilliant!
