Old cars suck! They’re dangerous and bad for the environment. They’re also always worse driving than I remembered. These days, whenever I get into an older car they feel so damn loud and slow. They should be relegated to the garage and left off the streets.

Gas taxes should be higher. Like, much higher.

How is this still thought of as an accident?  She had stickers covering her nipples after the top was ripped off... of course it was planned to happen. Exposing boobs was gray area (at that time), nipples would have brought down all holy hell.... this was planed, but executed badly.

I am so conflicted on this. I dedicated my life to supporting people with disabilities. So to hear about people wanting to have an abortion due to a Down syndrome diagnosis is painful.

If they made the IDs freely and *easily* available to all, I’d have no issue with it.

Thank you for such a concise and outstanding explanation of why voter ID laws are racist. And for your patience of explaining it, repeatedly, in this thread. Too often I find myself rage-typing, and it’s nice to see such a measured and intellectual (and calm) response.

Saying, “I need an ID to buy a candy bar with my credit card so why shouldn’t I need my ID to vote,” is a false equivalence, but it has the appeal of being logically sound on the surface. And that’s why politicians have found voter ID laws to be such a potent weapon.

I have to respectfully disagree and point out that voter ID laws are objectively racist in that they disproportionately effect poor communities of color.

I live less than two miles from I-75/Big Beaver and haven’t experienced it yet, not looking forward to it.

Sure but it’s not her fucking fault the state Supreme Court removed her ability to make emergency declarations without approval from the state legislature. She literally can’t do as you suggest without convincing a bunch of conservative Republican dumbasses to go along with it, which isn’t going to happen.

It may not be a popular opinion among the crustier MSTies, but I liked Jonah/Baron/Hampton/Felicia/Patton. They definitely gave off an air of trying too hard early on, but that team produced some legitimate classic episodes.

Put yourself in the same situation as this guy and you would’ve hit the wheel too. Not only is this obstacle completely unexpected, but there wasn’t even enough time to process it and make a decision on what inputs to give to the bike. The only real option was to hit it.

I mean, it’s pretty obvious they’re standing shoulder to shoulder looking past each other. They aren’t making eye contact. Without context, it looks like a weird form of forced perspective but if you actually watch the whole scene it’s not that bad.

Passed by Casa Tracy yesterday and did my best to explain to my wife how we were passing the home of some serious greatness. And she did her best to act impressed. But I'm always excited when I pass TracyJeepHQ. It's like a Hollywood 'tour of the stars' right here in Metro Detroit! Keep up the great work, DT!

Yeah, how could a white woman possibly ever get the benefit of the doubt over a black man in family court? In America??? I don’t buy it...

Take these kids away from her immediately. Full stop. No “well you get to see them during...” No, you lost that right. For good.

One, electric hot hatches will be cool.

RV Driver: “Wow, this thing is really struggling.”

I almost never approve of means testing any government program. What if I made 50 grand on my 2019 tax returns, but lost my job in March 2020? Do I not get any incentive? What if I don’t have a job, and therefore don’t live within 10 miles of where I don’t work? Do I not get any incentive?

Open it up to everyone and

Used cars are going up in price in part because people would rather have a bigger more luxurious car than a new car of smaller size.”
