You know son, there's another drug you can get high on. It's called, "responsibility".

Doesn't sound like anyone is getting high on the Wii U though.

Oh I agree the series should definitely stay 3rd person, I was just saying that Guardian of Light was a fun alternative to those games. It was something fresh.

Guardian of light tries to expand TR universe into another platform, but for me it just dont work, but i still finishes it. TR should stays in 3rd person view.

The Prince of Persia series, the first three... specifically the first one. Great game and I really do believe the recent batman games pulled their combat system from those games.

Yeah I know. I Threw that one out there as a joke.

Oh okay. My bad, I assumed when you said "that was a bad idea" that you meant that it was a bad idea because Anniversary was a bad game.

The reason you are kind of forced into using a 360 controller Is because Microsoft changed their development environment to use the xinput.dll (the file 360 and logitech controllers use for their instructions) rather than directInput (like it used to use use). Developers just check the default xinput for input rather

How do you update the gameplay on a 2D platformer like this one? Change it too much and it won't even feel like DKC. Then what's the point?

The Anniversary edition is the best I've played. Minimal annoying sidekicks in my earpiece, very little interaction with other humans period really. You get the sense that if Lara misses this next jump no one will ever see her again. She's alone. It's all up to her. But in Legend? Every time a sidekick opens his big

I use joy2key for games that don't support controller. Seems to work fine with everything I've played so far.

I'm kinda confused, what didn't you like about Anniversary? It had the focus on puzzles and platforming that Tomb Raider is known for, which later in your paragraph you state that you wish the series would return to that style of game. I'm curious is all. I liked the reboot but I agree, I wish they would have had more

I totally agree with you on that. One of the reasons I play on PC is so that I'm not locked into a proprietary system.

I remember when Uncharted was compared to Tomb Raider, now is Tomb Raider that is compared to Uncharted, the world sure has changed.

It's definitely lazy, but it makes sense. If they've mapped out a control scheme for the Xbox controller already, they don't have to do it again.

A lot of people have 360 controllers. I'm not familiar with the Logitech controllers, can you use it on the consoles as well? A big positive for the 360 controller is that you can use it for PC and Xbox.

I think most likely it's simply because it's a Microsoft device. It's also an extremely common gaming controller that is well liked, so it has a large user base of people that overlaps both Xbox and PC.

I don't necessarily want Retro to be working on Metroid. I simply want them to make a game as great as Metroid Prime. It could be a new Metroid game. I'd also be pretty excited for them to make the next console Zelda game, or just to create a new IP altogether.

For every an project they have shut down There are dozens and dozens they haven't they haven't. The only Pokemon fan game i know they have shut down was the Pokemon MMo. Seriously. They shutdown a ew project and suddenly people thing any an project will immediately be shut down. Nintendo's actually fairly lenient
