I’m curious as to how this will turn out. Doing a SoTC copy takes more than just the base design and look.

I’m not sure if they can pull that off with 3 people, and I’m not sure they can deliver unique bosses. The bosses so far look like re-skinned SoTC bosses.

“Which isn’t Federation Force,”

We’ve barely seen the game. And the only thing we’ve seen of it are multiplayer co-op stuff, the singleplayer might have atmosphere, it might not. In either case, it’s irrelevant as it’s a spinoff and not a main game anyway.

“As for sales, it was still a central pillar of Nintendo icons,

She IS a side character, because the game is about the Federation Force. She might still be playable though maybe as a sidestory or like a skin.

And yes, Samus is synonymous with Metroid, but again she isn’t and doesn’t need to be the be and end all of the Metroid franchise.

“ but people play Metroid games partly

It’ll likely bomb, killing this series off for good, and it’ll join the ranks of other dead series that couldn’t pull their weight.

Samus could still be a playable character in this game. She’s in it, and could be an unlock. The only thing that would make it not possible is the whole mechs thing.

Also yeah it’s called Metroid, not Samus Aran’s Adventures. Samus may be synonymous with Metroid, but games could be made without her within the universe.

If the game actually looked like this, I’d probably be inclined to actually play through it. Then again I’d have to play it, which is my main problem right now.

Man I miss Mark of Kri, we need a game ;like that more than ever these days.

If you didn’t want to read my reply then you shouldn’t have replied to my comment. Your comment prior to mine was similarly long winded and had nothing to do with the issue in this article, but I read it anyway.

I’ll just stop here, since the rest of your post is just jibbering nonsense and attacks, and all about some

I’ll have to see some supporting evidence besides hearsay of ‘harsher policies’. I know people say it a lot, but I don’t know of figures and how much content they have flagged opposed to other companies. And considering as I said there is a lot of Nintendo content on Youtube that’s fine I still reserve judgment on

This is about youtubers though. Rapp firing is between her and Nintendo, and noone actually knows the specific circumstances under which she got fired and what that second job entails. If it was escort services or nude photography it would seem warranted, but if it isn’t or whatever it was it isn’t anyone’s business

I never said Nintendo’s top brass didn’t know, I said that policies were instituted and trickled down to Youtube and youtubers(policies which likely addressed media and people using said media and intellectual properties). CEOs and company presidents knowledge of Youtubers aren’t usually on their docket at meetings

“Abrasive” how? All this stuff is automatic, and there is a TON of unofficial Nintendo content out there Nintendo hasn’t even touched, possibly far more than any videogame company. But of course that never gets brought up, only when they do step in, which is usually when others try to profit from their work.

Always weird when someone uses a physical object like a car to make an example with media. The two are governed by completely different laws, and are entirely different in how a person consumes then. The boxing and benchmarking thing is very odd as well as it’s just unpacking a product or doing testing on it.

I doubt the ‘upper management’ had anything to do with this policy. This was more likely a thing of protecting their brand and it covers media, which naturally covers Youtube. I’d probably bet 5 dollars if anyone were to ask Kimishima about this if he’d actually know or Iwata when he was still alive.

It’s an automated system. I’m surprised people are still complaining about Nintendo for this when this is more of a Youtube problem and Nintendo doesn’t actually care.

But I guess it’s an easy mark for “Old man-behind the times Nintendo” being backward again articles and such, and the weekly rage.

I guess in the end 4J

I don’t know why it sounds right to you when it clearly doesn’t apply. The word ‘some’ is in there for a reason. That’s like saying Disney has cult status, or Johnny Depp or Tom Cruise has cult status. You don’t have cult status when you’re one of the biggest names in entertainment and in your own industry which sells

She wrote her thesis on relaxing sentences on pedophiles and lowering the age of consent, as well as tweeting about them. The thesis was in the past, but doing stuff like that when you are the public face of a company that markets to kids and families is an insanely idiotic thing to do.

Not really, like all things legal you can find loopholes. If someone is a risk to your business and you want to fire them without them suing you or backlash, then find a reason to do it if the current reason you want to do it isn’t enough.

When you’re a spokesperson for a company it’s just best you stay off social

What ‘cult’ status? You mean the most well known and longest running videogame company who sells millions of consoles? Just because the Wii U is a failure doesn’t mean the DS and and the WIi didn’t sell shit tons of consoles and the 3DS is still selling.

Yes that happens in companies. They will fire you when things get hot and you’re a risk to them, especially if you’re a spokesperson for them(and you’re pro-pedo when they target families and kids). Welcome to the corporate world and life.

Well it’s not like it really worked. It was likely the pedo stuff that did it. When you’re an international company that targets kids and families and one of your public spokesperson is pro-pedo it isn’t a good look.

It was likely GG spreading that stuff that did it. Before hardly anyone knew except maybe Nintendo
