Nice using Windows 10. I’ve found the recent update to be quite nice and very fast. The previous one was kinda weird with its icons and slow.

I wish I could star this post more.

I think it pretty much works for the games they make, which are fast paced action games at 60fps(targeted but usually never stable). It seems to be quite versatile as well, since they can pump out so many games in a short period of time, or while spreading themselves so thin.

But I don’t know the intricacies of games…

I owned a PS2, it fell and never recovered. I still have the controllers though which I’ve since bought USB converters for and bought a couple Logitech dual actions and still have some of my old PS2 games like Shinobi, Mark of Kri, Shadow of the Colossus etc. I guess it’s still better than my PS1s which I had to turn…

Yeah, but they still have to remake all the assets, do the animation, effects, rewrite dialogue and scenes etc etc. Nothing from the old game can actually be reused, so that means all those backgrounds will have to be re-modelled, and all those creatures as well. Not to mention all those minigames.

I play PS2 games emulated, and if you think this looks like a PS2, maybe you’ve never actually owned a PS2.

Still though, they are attempting to deliver dual screen, 60fps(on both screens) gameplay with the least powerful console this gen. Expectations should have been kept in check.

Okay, so it could be even further away than that then. Remaking FF7 from scratch is a massive undertaking.

It depends...but then again they are foxes, bunnies, and frogs as space mercenaries flying spaceships, so who knows what technologies they have to avoid throwing up and shooting properly while flying whiat is essentially a mechanical chicken.

The moment that they announced that the game will be using dual screens and displaying different viewpoints(being very resource intensive), this is what everyone should have expected.

They are essentially rendering two screens simultaneously(albeit at different resolutions), it would never have been a graphical…

I don’t know what to tell you. I’d speculate and try some deductive reasoning or something, but Nintendo is just weird. They showed the Devil’s Third footage and Fatal frame before and after their Digital Event, announced W101 outside of their conference etc.

You can probably just ignore this game if you feel like, but this is a spin-off game obviously.

Did it make over 30 million? because that’s the sort of budget you’d need to go up against any Banjo game made by Microsoft. So relatively lower budget. But in indie terms it will be well funded, but the comparison was to a Rare made Banjo game.

They were using the surface pro to play alongside the hololens. What I wanted to see is her playing the game and you getting the realtime feedback of her actions to be convincing. With just one viewpoint, it’s not as convincing.

Pretty much. But I’m pretty sure you can’t definitively state that this was running on XBO hardware in realtime with absolute certainty either. If so, PM me the details, screenshots of it running on the hardware and code, and a pcture of your comany ID card and I’ll change what I said.
