"Women expect and get free everything- women get to choose their mates, while men don't- women get a pass from authorities- women get to be horrible without being called on it."

I have to say, this is the first time I've had the basic tenets of their grievances listed so concisely, and how do you refute such a list? Its based in such a subjective "reality" that its hard to know where to even start. The conversation they're having is so different from the one we're having.
The remarkable thing, to me, about this is the continuing dystopian fantasy about "women's privileges" maintained by these nutcases and far too many who don't pull out the guns, but complain privately. If you quiz them about what these "privileges" are, they'll tell you:
- women expect and get free everything
- women…
You know you fucked up real bad when even George W. Bush, and Bill O'Reilly find it "hard to understand" why you didn't indict the officer, with a video of the murder, and a use of a banned technique.
Everything Bush II has done since leaving office has confirmed two things for me: 1) Bush is a simpleminded guy who only sat in the White House to please his daddy, and 2) Bush is not a bad man; which, considering the things his administration did only solidifies my belief that Dick Cheney is the goddamned devil.
I dunno man - at some point, when you have caused SO much death and destruction, it just doesn't matter that you're a cool dude to drink a beer with. You're still a criminal. And Dubya has never shown any remorse for his actions.
I watched part of the interview. I really never thought Bush was a bad guy- a bad president, but I think he was always well intentioned. He just should have done something other than go into politics.
Hey, Maxim Integrated Products, we just solved your time theft problem by stealing all the toilet paper. And the toilet.
Fabrication technician might mean having to get in and out of a clean suit or something which might cost more time. Even then the answer is to just have her clock out for breaks and get after her if she consistently fails to do so.
I would love it if the rest of the employees protested by showing their bosses what stealing from the company really looks like.
I think it goes without saying that pregnancy brings a lot of unwelcome challenges. I was a gestational diabetic and followed doctor's order to the letter. I ate every two hours (meal, snack, meal, snack, meal), drank 64 ounces of water daily and checked my blood sugar regularly. It wasn't what I wanted but it was…
As someone who also pees more than the average person, I wish I could star your comment all day long.
If you are working on a chip production line in a clean room, it means you have to gown down, put your regular clothes back on, go pee, take your regular clothes back off, gown up, decontaminate yourself, and then go back to work. So it's takes a bit longer than if you are working white collar stuff (those tyvek suits…
super murky territory.
LOLOLOL!!
because "not clocking out to use the restroom is stealing from the company."
You mean you don't watch your movies 2 minutes at a time over the course of a week or so?
As someone with overactive bladder, I've been looking forward to pregnancy because I thought at least when I'm pregnant, I won't be judged or reprimanded for getting up in the middle of things. Looks like that's not necessarily the case. :(
"Not clocking out to use the restroom is stealing from the company." I just wanted to repeat that real quick.
I hope she wins and also gets her job back (or, better yet, an offer for a job at a better company from someone who hears about her story). It doesn't seem like they warned her about this until they held the meeting to fire her, and by then it was too late for her to start clocking out.
