Agreed. I can't tell you how many people I've talked to who said they went to HR to complain about something - harassment, racism, unpaid overtime, shitty treatment from a boss, whatever - only to find themselves out on their ass later, and that it's so unfair.

It's truth. I've had half a dozen co-workers come to me and say they're going to complain about their supervisors to HR, and then they're surprised when HR doesn't mete out the justice they desire.
