Who gives up on a show after 5 minutes? I have watched some pretty terrible shows and I at least finish the first episode or two before making a decision. Hell, one of my favorite comedies, Parks and Recreation, I hated the first season so much because it was poorly written and had very little direction

I am meaning to catch up on this

Cue all of the “The UK ‘Ghosts’ is way better’ comments ... 3-2-1 ...

I still think its original (used outside the US) title:

I thought it was funny. And it indirectly addressed them not showing up to fight Starro in TSS.

I guess they don’t like the Harley Quinn animated series either?

The Snyder Cult really doesn’t have any sense of media literacy...

Oh, and that show where there’s a doctor who’s REALLY good at being a doctor but has difficulty connecting with people.

Midge has good qualities and bad qualities. Why do we have to deem a female character terrible every time she has substantial flaws? Most people have substantial flaws.

I liked the moment in the series when we found out Harcourt’s first name. It seemed like a deep dark secret that she had a name that sounds like a Jane Austen heroine.

One reason this show works so well is it isn’t in service of anything other than the story it is telling. it isn’t setting up a wider world. It doesn’t have to tie into any other shows. It has a story and purpose all it’s own. And Gunn actually understands TV, and story telling, and not stringing us along in a “it’s

I think the comics!Vigilante does have some sort of healing/regenerating powers so it does make a lot of sense that Vig is probably a meta and he is too dumb to realize it - he probably thinks that’s a normal thing, lol.

Somewhere between Blockers and Peacemaker I became a John Cena fan, and I don’t know when the hell that happened. Also, Danielle Brooks is terrific. I’m so happy she’s getting to move past Taystee. I think she’s so good and deserves more than to be typecast as that one character for the rest of her career

The Rock is more of a straight-ahead action hero these days, whereas Cena tried that route early on to very little success (The Marine, woof), and didn’t really turn it around until he showed serious comedy chops in Trainwreck and Sisters.

Just experienced the finale and it tasted better than I could have possibly hoped! Perfect end to a bonkers season. Quintessential Gunn.

I got the impression that Johnson believes his own hype.

I love Peacemaker so much, I don’t care how many John Cenas, James Gunns, or butterflies I have to kill to get it.

I would actually love a series where King Shark returns to the sea after being ridiculed for being dumb, only to find that as far as fish intelligence is concerned, he’s brilliant beyond the comprehension of his peers. He becomes a social pariah for even attempting to preach “don’t eat friends,” which is blasphemy to

If any superhero movie in the last decade other than Spider-Verse deserves spinoffs, it’s The Suicide Squad.

I actually really want to watch the further adventures of Bloodsport and Ratcatcher. Also it pretty much sounds like the only option unless they somehow get Robbie to commit being Harley on the small screen.
