as soon as he was faced with the prospect of a relationship with Jen couldn’t even be bothered to keep the act up.

if Jen’s date had simply googled her, he might have been more prepared
I think “lighthearted” was a polite way to say this one was actually funny.
Madisynn doesn’t get portaled directly to Kamar-Taj she gets portaled to another dimension where she makes a deal with a demon that she won’t talk about
Who says he doesn’t?
I didn’t get the vibe from Wong. Madisynn is probably game for anything.
I don’t think the issue is with the tone. People who knew the She-Hulk comics already expected this tone. It was clear right from the teasers.
To be fair, though, none of the critiques here (especially from the reviewer) have anything to do with female lead-ness of it all. If anything, that’s the one praise it gets around these parts. After all, most of the commenters are Orphan Black fans who tuned in for Tatiana Maslany specifically.
at some point, Kamar-Taj was used as a wedding venue between two randos. Just go with it.
It was already weird that Wong would think of calling Jen to begin with. Since when the disputes within Kamar-Taj are resolved through the U.S. law system? It was a pretty contrived way to have Wong in the episode.
Patty Guggenheim definitely stole the show, even over Benedict Wong.

But they can fabricate one. They typically have a much harder time forging a gun from scrap metal.
In Ghostbusters 2016.
Benedict Wong’s delight at exploring a more playful side of Wong is apparent.
It’s also legitimate that she would be asked about a failed admission into the Avengers from back in the time, not right now. A skeleton in the closet type of thing.
Honestly, as a middle-aged European who doesn’t listen to rap, at first I had no idea Megan Thee Stallion was a real person and not a fictional minor character in the Marvel Universe.
Mostly she didn’t have to do much at all for the case. We can’t really tell that she’s a brilliant lawyer from a case where she just has to point at her client and say, “Yup, he’s reformed. All witnesses will back this up”. And it’s done. They even made a big deal about Blonsky’s transformation, when that was exactly…
Wasn’t that a last-minute reshoot using actual comments to the teaser or something?
