The copraganda has definitely been hard to watch

It helps that he’s very freaking tall. When he stands next to Amenadiel, it almost feels wrong because you’d expect Amenadiel to tower over him.

there’s almost no way Dan would still be alive and talking (after three gunshots to the chest with a .45) to tell Chloe about Caleb

I keep reading how “Daniel Espinoza: Naked and Afraid” was a red flag, but I don’t think it’s true. Linda has had a focus episode this season too, Ella had in the past, and they weren’t killed off.

It meant that Dan was going to die, or Lucifer and Dan were falling in love

Yeah, as a plot device to motivate Lucifer to go to war against Michael, it wasn’t really necessary and is the worst kind of fridging. And other than that, the various reactions might give all the actors good material for their showreel, but within a still largely goofy show about the devil solving crimes, I’d still

now living his own bespoke Hell Loop

The only thing I wasn’t sold about the Goddess’s return (too easily crossed universes aside, perhaps) is the fact that she randomly still looks like Charlotte, who was clearly established in multiple ways as just a host body for the Goddess’s essence.

It doesn’t even make sense. In which way is Lydia a Jesus figure? And how are the others her disciples? They don’t even like her!

did he not wonder why no one questioned the fact that he came back from Mexico without his prisoner? Or his car?

If memory serves, Lucifer aired on Tuesdays on Fox.

I think the idea of God being angry at Dan for sleeping with the Goddess only exists in Dan’s mind. We know the Goddess resented God for not caring about her in the least anymore, so his jealousy at this stage would make no sense.

Yeah, it wasn’t about getting shot, it was about being suddenly considered someone who Dan, i.e. the guy who’s now always trying to do the right thing, would want to shoot and kill.

On the Nature of Daylight” is now so deeply ingrained in Arrival’s imagery (despite having been used in a dozen different films) that felt distracting to me.

Especially since the entities that were overseeing the trial are not openly at war with Gilead, so Fred’s intelligence is not really actionable, is it? Who’s going to bomb the sensitive targets Fred will reveal? And to what purpose, even?

Ann Dowd, Samira Wiley and Alexis Bledel are the three remaining top tier who continue to embody convincing, grounded and complex people

I honestly thought they’ll be going the route of June being actually happy Fred gets to walk, so she can kidnap and torture him.

if one recalls that Gilead could pound the snot out of Canada, if over-antagonized.

Yeah, it’s more about the freedom of movement than the communication. The setup of “cut to the two characters simply talking on the phone” was sloppy, but we can assume some way exists to communicate between Gilead and other countries still.

1) June. The answer of everything about Nick is always “June”. They’re star-crossed lovers in the time of cholera.
