And if anything, more debates might have removed the “shiny new car sheen” from Sanders and spurred moderators to ask him hard questions which he was unprepared to answer, like what happened during the debate in Brooklyn or the NY Daily News interview.

I seem to remember a past Gawker post where a Berniebro insisted that even though Clinton is far and away the frontrunner and leaving Sanders in the dust, that she should abdicate and try to become Sanders’ VP. And then refused to see how fucking sexist that was.

Unlike Bernie “I voted for the Crime Bill for the same reasons everyone else did and called the same criminals sociopaths” Sanders?

Speaking of a “rigged process”, you must be opposed to caucuses then, amirite? ...................Crickets.............

It just doesn’t get talked about by the public and often, doesn’t get talk about by the media, either, because to do so would undermine the diplomatic efforts that open the channels to allow the US/UK/EU to intervene in those ways.

I honestly love you here in this discussion, because you are being respectful and rationale and staying away from negativity. Unfortunately, you are doing so with someone who is never going to meet you half way on that.

If that’s the standard, it must mean you don’t feel too badly about everyone who’s died in Afghanistan and otherwise in the so-called war on terror since Bernie voted for the AUMF that authorized those actions.

I’m not a Democrat, so I agree that the DNC should get fucked and needs serious reforms. But in the meantime, it ain’t changing before November. And as Bernie was running as a Democrat to be the de facto head of the Democrats, he understood the rules before the race began. I would take his complaints a whole lot more

I shudder at the prospect of Sanders handling such a thing. And forget Trump.

That’s interesting, because Bernie supporters were the most condescending assholes on any social media feed I had. It’s all relative.

smart comment and im afraid of the shit storm you will get.

you are fighting the good fight here.

Your final paragraph touches on some of the many criticisms his former colleagues have levied against him. It reminds me of when Barney Frank said that Bernie’s posturing and arrogance alienate his natural allies.

You could easily say the same thing about Hillary Clinton. In the 90s, she was ‘the Femnazi communist’ pushing her socialist agenda of universal healthcare and hated by Wall Street. Then, 95% same Senate record as Bernie, now she’s a ‘corporate shill’ despite never sponsoring any legislation helping banks.

I didn’t say she was the nominee. I said she was the presumptive nominee. And I’m glad that you’ve surrounded yourself with a purity test’s worth of friends, but real life and real votes thus far show that people have voted for her and for Trump. I’m not sure what you mean by Bernie having the support of the “PEOPLE,”

A little slow on the uptake, there, Mr. Sanders, but you got there in the end.

I liked that he acknowledged the sexism that plagues Clinton’s very existence.

One of the most aggavating things about this election has been watching certain idiot BernieBros insist that Hillary is “basically a Republican” because she voted for the Iraq War.

This person is doing a ton of projecting and rationalizing. Her reasons for that are pretty obvious. I suggest dropping it.
