The worst bosses are the ones that have 3 or 4 ‘phases’ you need to beat in order to get past them. Each ‘phase’ is essentially the same (with minor variants) and you get to witness the boss ‘die’ in between each phase only to rise to fight again with a full health bar. Fucking ponderous.
