The reason is simple. it ran a bit like a pig on middling hardware and Borderlands and Fallout 3 were before it, were better and when Rage came out you were likely fatigued from both so Rage wasn’t very appealing if exposed to those already.

That’s only true until they hit puberty, though. The following 5-10 years can be absolute hell and can definitely over shadow all the previous “sweetness” before.

Fair use wins. Emulation is not piracy. Period. Downloading games without paying for them to the legitimate owners? Piracy. Ripping your own media to use how you see fit, particularly when hardware is no longer being made and is, up to a point, no longer even patented? Fair use.

Have you played native N64 games on an HDTV? It’s awful and nearly gamebreaking. Details become so pixelated you cannot decipher critical visual cues at times.

It’s a glorified demo and not even remotely “free” in the traditional sense. So is it REALLY any wonder not many give a shit?

Of course you can’t imagine. You haven’t done it. Personally I can’t imagine anything realisitcally larger than the Galaxy Note area. I also can’t imagine using a MULTIMEDIA phone smaller than that, either.
