The rule, rather than the exception, was that most Amiga/C64/Atari (computer not crappy console)/DOS games was that they were inferior versions of the console outside of sometimes graphics and sound. That era inexplicable suffers from porting issues and simply odd design decisions more than any other era.

It'll be crappy CG so it can just stay dead then. Even if you take away the aesthetic part CG cartoons are simply written differently to compensate for some technical sides and to save money. That's why almost all CG television cartoons suck.

It's worth noting that you only need to buy one Steam version of Sega's emulation packs and then if you, say, buy the rest from Amazon or elsewhere you can install them to where you installed the Steam version and it'll add the games there, or just move the pak files. It'll load in the emulator just the same.

That is not behavior exclusively linked to the gaming community. It's something that IS linked, however, to online social media. The gaming community just happens to be "plugged in" more so as such, given how large it is now, it's pretty easy for vocal idiots to get their opinions noticed.
