They shown it a couple of times here and there, and I was pretty excited for it as racing/car combat games are my favorite genres. Unfortunately, even in LA I can’t manage to find a PS5 anywhere, and since I’m primarily a PC player, I gave up and started hunting for GPUs instead.

Fuck yeah, NetherRealm nails it with at least making the fighting game story modes at least be somewhat coherent and fun. Injustice 2 and the MK story modes are pretty good.

Yeah, and imo, it would’ve made more sense to include Johnny Cage in the film, and for Cole to be some smaller character like Taven, or Kenshi (before he was blinded by Shang Tsung). Lewis Tan has previously even used Katanas in the past.

As a big MK fan, I gotta agree. While I enjoy this new film for what it is, the first one is just more fun, even if it’s PG-13.

No problem. Just a note, I’d suggest getting the PC version, as there are mods that let you tweak the stats better for a more realistic feel. The console games tend to be too floaty.

I think Skater XL might be more your jam, especially with mods. The community has been pushing for more realism, and it gets a lot better despite occasional radio silence from the devs:
