It might be, but if you’re the kind of buyer who is spending >$100k on a car, you probably don’t care.

When I sold my 2008 Civic Coupe, the buyer took all of my DIY receipts “at face value”. The car was in excellent condition, and I kept the store receipts whenever I bought oil / brakes / whatever. I stapled each of them to a sheet of paper and wrote down what I did, at what mileage, and on what date. They looked over

Neat! I like the front update. The new Prius is pretty awesome to drive for what it is.

Visit Vancouver if you get a chance. Toronto, not so much.

You can’t simply ask them to call you when they arrive at address xyz, and drive your car our of the parking lot, meeting them at address xyz? There’s no need to tell them exactly where you work, or let them into the premises.

Heads up: call your local dealer, and tell them that you work during the hours that you’re open. Ask if it’s at all possible to pick your car up from your workplace and drop it off after. I’ve never been told “no” before. Dealers like to form long-term relations with their customers - and when my local Toyota dealer

That’s wild. A house, -any- house in Vancouver, BC is worth about 10-13 Teslas. And it’s not that we’re all rich, it’s that property is just really expensive.

Right, but 17/24 is still -really- bad! That’s thirsty as hell!

Eh, they’re goofy, but they kinda grow on you after a while. And, there’s always the 500e and the i3!

You ease it in slowly enough that industry has time to adapt, but quickly enough that it’s meaningful.

Man, I’d -love- a 6 mile round-trip. I’d do that on a bicycle every day, and only own a fun “weekend” car.

If I didn’t already own the Prius, I’d pick up a used i3 in an instant.

Me too. 20 year old me thought the Prius was a dumb and terrible idea which nobody could ever possibly want because it was so horribly uncool. 35 year old me owns a Prius as a DD, because saving a ton of money on fuel and having a comfortable way to get around is definitely pretty cool.

That absolutely works, but it only works so many times. It’s only about as good as “my battery died”.

I hate in-flight WiFi. Hate hate hate it. Wish it never existed.

Heads up: the “ready” indicator is present on all hybrids and EVs - not just the Leaf.

Why wouldn’t you? They’re silent, comfortable, reliable, multifunctional, consume no fossil fuels and are genuine all-round awesome daily drivers.

Even better: buy the battery from a crashed Leaf. The electric gokart guys are already doing this.

Doesn’t help you when the collision was a hit-and-run in a parking lot, or a rear ender, or (etc). I’m watching this problem unfold in real life. Check out what a passenger side mirror costs for a 2018 Fit EX right now. It’s -crazy-. And, that mirror needs to go into the dealer for coding, to make its’ camera talk to

Pretty serious wait list on the Bolt still, in BC. And you won’t get one for a penny less than MSRP.
