I have not understood people being Team Danielle. I don’t dislike him, but I don’t see how/why anyone was rooting for him and Issa.

I don’t think the belief that being middle class makes you “better than” working class...more like a person fits the definition of middle class/white collar vs. working class/blue collar. I think most of us know that blue collar workers can make a VERY good living.

Did you see Sunday’s epi? She is applying for new jobs. Again, I think Issa is SO real. She’s a little sheltered and a lot naive.

My husband looked at me crazy when I said when we buy I want a basement or MIL ‘apartment’...sure it can be rented but you just never know when family or friends will need help. And as long as you’re trying and ain’t just flat-out trifling, a free place to lay your head for a few months could be the difference.

The problem is this is becoming an issue for MOST of America. Of course the coasts and the largest metro areas but here in my little 18,000 person suburb, 12 miles outside of Minneapolis, I’m trying to figure out WHO IN THE HELL is paying $2,000/month for a 2-bdr apartment. WHO?!? WHY!?!? 

I can’t believe the disbelief around Issa’s predicament. I too wonder who these people are and where they come from and who they’ve spent time around.

I’d remove Nia, Tamala and Morris - not because they don’t look AMAZING but I think they all look like really amazing 40 year olds.

I feel like I agree with tipping being mandatory, but then as a black woman I have been mistreated by enough servers that I no longer agree tipping is mandatory. If you interact with all the (white) people at my table and complete ignore me? Eff you. 

Like Issa rooting for everybody black...I do a lil extra for service from black folks too. Except I live in the tundra and don’t encounter enough black folks.
