The same reason formula 1, WRC, and NASCAR drivers race Karts: it keeps them competitive.

I dunno. I thought OJ went better with Mountain Dew.

No, then it'd be self-defense / excessive force / negligent homicide / manslaughter.

And Ward didn't start running FORWARD (down into traffic?) until he saw Stewart's car came by. So the other 15 cars don't really mean anything.

You're way too emotional right now to be using logic and I have no desire to quarrel with you. I'd mourn instead.

Then you're too close and too emotional. IMHO, of course.

"He looks nothing like Marc... Nothing!"

Holy f***. Borrow a serving tray, lay down paper towels, or a cardboard box and do it in the lady's room, sheesh. Or do it in the sink. That's big enough, right? Improvise, adapt, and overcome. Ruining everybody else's day with diaper smell is uncalled for. I am sorry, but this just screams "selfish mom" to me.

Yeah, I knew since like 2AM my local time, man.

I doubt there's enough to charge Stewart, but that's my personal view since Ward should not have walked onto a live course, even when it's on yellow flag. They are both reckless AND negligent. It's a tragedy all around.

Sounds more like... Fallout Tactics. :)

The problem here is while "technically correct", that Jackie Chan did attend "Chinese Opera Research Institute" what that didn't explain was it's a boarding school to train kids with martial arts, acrobatics, performing, and a bit of singing. He's classmates with Sammo Hung. I think Sammo wrote a memoir that was later

Because it started that way in Hong Kong. Jackie Chan started as a martial arts movie star getting groomed to follow in Bruce Lee's footsteps. It just never clicked, so he invented his "funny acrobatic kung fu" subgenre and it became his own trademark.

And his sister.

Sorry, differential thrust, different tire sizes. Sometimes I get the tech details wrong.

On the other hand, could Stewart have even SEEN Ward in that situation? Ward's wearing black jumpsuit, with black helmet (which he hadn't taken off yet), on a corner of course that's not that well-lit, AT NIGHT, and was actively running toward traffic. It's debatable whether Stewart can even see Ward. His attention

No passing under yellow. There would be no cars on the outside except the disabled car i.e. Ward's car, and it's all the way at the outside wall beyond the track. Stewart's in the middle of the track. Should he be EXPECTING Ward to come after him? It'd be harder than seeing a motorcycle guy wearing black on a black

There is one point you missed... race drivers don't look at outside of the turn. They look at the INSIDE. So he may not have seen Ward except for this blob of white off corner of his eye... Then the impact.

He's a professional NASCAR driver who drives sprint cars for fun.

Yes, I've seen other dirt track racers going at it, but generally it's when both have spun out. If one party had spun out, that party generally yell obscenities and maybe throw the helmet, but come close enough to be hit? Esp. in a hard to control sprint car where a tap or two will send you sliding out to the wall?
