I wouldn’t call it a driver’s car, but my Niro EV is a lot more fun than I expected. It also has an interior and interface that resembles a normal car, and 250 miles of range.

They are usually their own site, as opposed to a page on a larger site.

A usually transient website of narrow focus

Either this is serious, or your post is taking us to levels of satire previously thought impossible.

This! And the ones who got laid off decided to go into different fields and trades - so that means less competent workers are available when they are needed. So they laid off out of greed, forced their workers into other fields, won’t pay enough to attract them back, and can now justify price gouging due to a labor

I had issues with finding charging at first, but once I got my Level 2 charger installed at home I haven’t worried about it. With higher range ( > 200 miles) and chargers at home, daily use doesn’t need it.

I decided to lease my first EV a few months ago, haven’t looked back. (Kia Niro EV)

I ended up leasing a 2022 Niro EV, EX w/ Cold weather package, to get my toes in the EV pond. Glad I did, it is more fun to drive than it deserves to be, and looks pretty nice too.

The way it doesn’t immediately roll as the angle increases leads me to believe the parking brake was engaged but slipping, from not being fully engaged or poor brake material. A cursory search shows these use drum parking brakes, which in my limited experience slip at high angles.

Yes, it was  re-released for GC though

Thats neat! And it may lead to a feature I’ve always wanted, a way to communicate to the driver behind you. The road would be a nicer place if we could thank considerate drivers, and apologize when we make a minor mistake.

Completely agree, autos seems to get the most attention when there are a ton of shipping vehicles and construction equipment that will need to be addressed as well.

My ZJ did this to me! Was ready to start tearing things apart for other seals and it was just the oil sender. Thankfully an easy fix.

I hear you, it took a few years to find the perfect tape deck for my car but I’m very happy with it. Its an 89 so having a tape deck fits in very well with it.

Have not thrown many controller, but I was having a bad time with GT6 and decided to twist my PS3 controller in half. I was surprised to hear it start cracking that I decided to just finish it off. It is now a heap of spare parts in a box.

The belt driven balance shaft is what really gets me. Why belt driven? Hopefully the NVH without it isn’t too bad.

The windshield disclosure is good because not all windshield companies do a great job re-sealing it, or they make a mess of the trim getting it out. Its good to know if/when it was replaced.

Oh Ok... yeah I know what you mean about “half-baked Euro conversion”. I’m glad I didn’t change out the bumpers on mine but for a while my plan was to convert to a euro front / rear. The square headlights and GTi body pieces grew on me though.

The flares are part of the GTi package. The bumpers aren’t though. (Source: I had an 84 GTi that I regret getting rid of)

That was my first question, is that if it works for AGM batteries... thanks! I have an Odyssey PC680 that has worked great but I’ve been worried about what happens if it drains too low.
