Tesla recognized the need for an even faster charger early on, and asked for input from other EV manufacturers (very few of them were even doing it then) and they heard nothing back. So they went their own way, as they should. No one was willing to roll out anything, so they had to just go by themselves. Tesla offered

Don’t get a Kona. They don’t have supercharging, and the fast chargers they use are fairly rare in the US. Pay the 2,000 and level up if you live in the northern cold states.

Well, it will just be a Model 3 with taller shocks for higher ride height mostly. Not much to change on production line for them.

You won’t have a very good warranty with a used Model S. I had been looking at that option, too. the lifetime supercharging on used Model S is one of the deciding factors, but I heard they might rescind that for all of them? Not sure what will happen.

I think you are 100% correct. I think this battery stuff is what they have as an ace in the hole that isn’t really known by most people. I would think they’d keep this low profile from Panasonic until the time comes to split up from them.

Ok. Since you brought that up. Would you rather have this out of warranty or an Audi? Yeahhhh...I thought so.

No fluids except for battery cooling and brakes, I think. Amazing.

Insurance is actually same or less.  Tires are special, thus more expensive, they have foam in them. Yes, electricity prices lower and way more stable.

I can confirm. Bluetooth, basic maps for the nav, and four normal speakers. That’s it.

NO no, that takes up way too much room. there is a small set of bongo drums in the trunk.

Basic audio I’m guessing is just four speakers, no sub.

They’ll sell more base models than you think. I want the base model with cloth seats. Probably will pay the 1,500 for the midnight silver paint. Just wish i could get the top end stereo without having to get the full interior upgrade.

And I love the a la carte options where you can pay for different interior or battery range separately. Sweet!!!!!

It has doggo mode for those hot days, black interior is fine. No real need for dual motors in most cases.

From the recent deliveries, about two to four weeks. They are not behind.

The supercharger network is the game changer. Until all the rest of the carmakers have it, they won’t be able to keep up.

Yeah, it’s something you adjust once and never mess with it again. Good riddance I say. I’d rather have cloth seats also, so I’d say they did a good job.

So, I’ll have a limp. eh.

I’m sorry, I’m laughing too hard over here. “Hold on a sec, my shoes crashed and came unlaced. Let me reboot and try it again.”

Don’t forget Ajit Pai of the FCC.
